This program prepares students for direct entry into the first year of undergraduate degrees across various disciplines, including law, finance, engineering, and art, at internationally recognized universities. Elective units allow students to tailor their studies to specific academic interests, with options like Introductory Accounting, Introduction to Programming with Python, and Physics for University Study. • Flexible Study Options: Students can choose combinations of core and elective units totalling 120 credits, allowing for personalized learning pathways that align with their career aspirations and academic goals. • Global Recognition: The L3IFDHES is recognized by over 100 universities, branch campuses, business schools, and professional bodies in more than 20 countries, facilitating progression to undergraduate programs worldwide. Entry Requirements: • Academic Qualifications: Completion of GCSE/IGCSE 'O' Levels or an equivalent qualification with passes in five subjects, including Mathematics and English, at minimum grades of 'C' or '4'. English Language Proficiency: A valid IELTS score of 4.5 or above, or an equivalent qualification, for non-native English speakers. Alternatively, students can take the free NCC Education Standard English Placement Test administered by Accredited Partner Centres. Upon successful completion, students receive a qualification regulated by Ofqual, providing a solid foundation for higher education studies and enhancing employment opportunities.
English for Academic Purposes
This module helps students to develop the understanding and use of key linguistic skills where necessary to engage effectively in an academic environment.
Developing English Language Skills (DELS)
This module helps students to develop English language skills to be able to communicate effectively beyond simple everyday contexts. It aims to improve one’s reading, writing, listening and speaking and enables student to acquire a broad range of knowledge which can be used to confidently and effectively communicate in English. It guides students through Intermediate and Upper Intermediate levels of English language study.
Advanced English Language Skills
This module enables a student to put into practice the language acquired and develop this into an advanced user of English. Students will make extensive use of the four skills of speaking, reading, listening and writing, as well as extending the knowledge of complex grammar and advanced vocabulary.
Study and Communication Skills
This module equips students with the essential study skills needed to succeed at university level. Students will learn the basic skills necessary to conduct independent research, write academic papers, give formal oral presentations and apply what has been taught during lectures to your studies.
Level 2 Diploma in Business (L2DB)
