The NCC Education Level 3 Diploma in Business (L3DB) is regulated by Qualification Wales (QiW). Level 3 Diploma in Computing (L3DC)
The Level 3 Diploma in Computing (L3DC), offered by NCC Education, is an Ofqual-regulated qualification designed to introduce students to the field of computing. Level 3 International Foundation Diploma for Higher Education Studies (L3IFDHES)
The Level 3 International Foundation Diploma for Higher Education Studies (L3IFDHES), is a one-year pre-university qualification designed to equip students with essential skills in English language, mathematics, research, and study techniques. This program prepares students for direct entry into the first year of undergraduate degrees across various disciplines, including law, finance, engineering, and art, at internationally recognized universities. Key Features: • Comprehensive Curriculum: The diploma includes core units such as Developing English Language Skills, English for Academic Purposes, Mathematics for University Study, and Research and Study Skills for University Study. The NCC Education Level 4 Diploma in Business (L4DB) is a regulated qualification. It makes up the first year of the NCC Education Business Degree journey. The qualification is equivalent to the first year of a business degree in the UK university system. Students will be introduced to the many different aspects of international business in today’s world. Embarking on the qualification they will be exposed to both academic and vocational aspects of a wide range of subjects, enabling them to gain the necessary knowledge and skills vital for a career in business or further studies. On successful completion of the qualification students will be able to continue their studies on the NCC Education Level 5 Diploma in Business (L5DB) or at a UK university, or work in one of the many areas of the business world.
Level 5 Diploma In Business (L5DB - Legacy)
The NCC Education Level 5 Diploma in Business (L5DB) builds upon the knowledge gained during the NCC Education Level 4 Diploma in Business (L4DB). This qualification exposes students to more advanced topics in a range of areas including economics, marketing, finance and management. A balance of academic and vocational subjects equips students with the necessary knowledge and skills required to play a significant role in a business organisation.
BEng (Hons) Software Engineering
The BEng (Hons) Software Engineering top-up is delivered online by Western International College Online (WINC) with the final degree awarded by the University of Bolton. The programme has been designed collaboratively working with industrial partners to ensure that students study a comprehensive program of relevant industrial topics. Many graduates find successful careers in software engineering. The syllabus has an emphasis on real world experience which is informed by the latest research and global practices. Coursework throughout the course utilises realistic scenarios intended to prepare students for their career after university. This applies both to the technical areas studied, but also the output required from the student such as technical proposals or reports to management. A large amount of the coursework undertaken by students on this course is project based and involves group working. The ability to work successfully and productively in teams is an essential element of modern software engineering. It will enable students to develop skills such as advanced IT skills, analytical skills, communication, project management and organisation – all essential for the workplace. Regardless of the industry students intend to pursue careers in, the BEng (Hons) Software Engineering top-up degree will provide graduates with the necessary skills to succeed. Pre-Master’s in Business (PMB)
This programme is designed to enable candidates to efficiently bridge the gap between their existing qualifications and a master’s qualification. On successful completion students will be able to progress directly on to a master’s degree programme. Pre-Masters programmes are designed to prepare international students fully for studying at postgraduate level and deliver high-quality students. It allows candidates to upgrade their English language ability to a level suitable for master’s entrance, while also being introduced to studying a range of business-related subjects through the medium of English. The programme aims to raise the academic and English Language skills of the learner whilst preparing them for a variety of master’s related subjects through choosing a choice of elective units, supporting the appropriate subject choice.
Master of Business Administration (MBA) Advanced Entry
The course consists of the Research Methods module (20 credits) and the Dissertation (40 credits) on a topic of their choice, making it a popular option for individuals committed to developing their careers in senior management. Due to the current climate, the course is delivered through a distance learning mode of study; information and guidance given to the student mirrors which would have ordinarily been given during the induction week at either Cardiff Metropolitan University or one of our partners. There are scheduled interactive webinars for Research Methods followed by one to one sessions with a designated supervisor for the Dissertation. Help and guidance is provided along the way plus online tools to support development. On successful completion of the course, the student receives a Cardiff Metropolitan University certificate in ‘Master of Business Administration’ as well as a transcript and HEAR (Higher Education Achievement Report). Level 7 Diploma in Business Management (L7DBM)
The NCC Education Level 7 Diploma in Business Management (L7DBM) is an Ofqual regulated qualification that will help you understand and apply up to date management theory and practice in the fields of marketing, information strategy, project management, finance, leadership and entrepreneurship. The L7DBM qualification has been created for graduates or experienced managers. Students can attend face-to-face classes with an NCC Education Accredited Partner Centre (APC), or take the independent route and study 100% online. The NCC Education Level 5 Diploma in Computing (L5DC) is an Ofqual regulated qualification. The qualification (with specialisms) makes up the second year of the NCC Education degree journey and builds upon the knowledge gained during the NCC Education Level 4 Diploma in Computing (L4DC) or the NCC Education Level 4 Diploma in Computing with Business Management (L4DC BM), exposing students to greater detail and more advanced topics in a range of areas including database development, information systems analysis, network security and cryptography. Students will study a balance of academic and vocational subjects in order to provide the necessary knowledge and skills to play a significant role in IT organisations. On successful completion of the qualification students will be able to complete the final year of a degree with the NCC Education Business Computing and Information Systems Top Up validated by the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan), the University of Greenwich Computing Top-Up delivered at our Accredited Partner Centres, at one of the many universities that recognise NCC Education qualifications, or pursue a career in the IT industry.
