The NCC Education Level 4 Diploma in Business (L4DB) is a regulated qualification. It makes up the first year of the NCC Education Business Degree journey. The qualification is equivalent to the first year of a business degree in the UK university system. Students will be introduced to the many different aspects of international business in today’s world. Embarking on the qualification they will be exposed to both academic and vocational aspects of a wide range of subjects, enabling them to gain the necessary knowledge and skills vital for a career in business or further studies. On successful completion of the qualification students will be able to continue their studies on the NCC Education Level 5 Diploma in Business (L5DB) or at a UK university, or work in one of the many areas of the business world.

The NCC Education Level 2 Diploma in Business is a comprehensive and flexible qualification that enables learners to develop in-depth knowledge and skills across key areas of business. The skills acquired are highly transferable across industries and sectors, preparing learners to add significant value in a professional workplace.

The NCC Education Level 3 Diploma in Business New (L3DB New) is regulated by Qualification Wales (QiW). It is an Applied General qualification which allows candidates to demonstrate key transferable study skills, mathematical competency and applied cultural understanding, particularly in the context of international business, as well as a grounding in the essential concepts of business and economics. In addition, successful candidates will fulfil the main entry requirements for NCC Education’s Level 4 Diploma in Business (L4DB) as well as opening up opportunities to access a range of higher education courses or employment. Examples of higher education opportunities include, but are not limited to, progressing to university degrees in Business Management, Marketing, International Business, Accounting and Finance and examples of employment opportunities include roles such as Accounts Clerk, Recruitment Consultant and Accounting Technician. The Level 3 Diploma in Business syllabus and assessment is suitable for students aged 16-19 as well as adult learners.

The NCC Education Level 5 Diploma in Business (L5DB) builds upon the knowledge gained during the NCC Education Level 4 Diploma in Business (L4DB). This qualification exposes students to more advanced topics in a range of areas including economics, marketing, finance and management. A balance of academic and vocational subjects equips students with the necessary knowledge and skills required to play a significant role in a business organisation.

This module equips students with the essential study skills needed to succeed at university level. Students will learn the basic skills necessary to conduct independent research, write academic papers, give formal oral presentations and apply what has been taught during lectures to your studies.

This module enables a student to put into practice the language acquired and develop this into an advanced user of English. Students will make extensive use of the four skills of speaking, reading, listening and writing, as well as extending the knowledge of complex grammar and advanced vocabulary.

This module helps students to develop English language skills to be able to communicate effectively beyond simple everyday contexts. It aims to improve one’s reading, writing, listening and speaking and enables student to acquire a broad range of knowledge which can be used to confidently and effectively communicate in English. It guides students through Intermediate and Upper Intermediate levels of English language study.

This module helps students to develop the understanding and use of key linguistic skills where necessary to engage effectively in an academic environment.
